SUMMARY:Impact Report: 2023 Common Application for Summer Study
DESCRIPTION:Although Summer Study plays a transformative role in a classical musician’s journey\, the expenses can be cost-prohibitive. To address this gap\, Equity Arc created the Common Application for Summer Study which allowed musicians of color to submit one application at no cost to 14 partner summer study programs. Each partner committed to providing at least one full-tuition scholarship to an Equity Arc fellow. \nNow that the 2023 application process is complete\, we are thrilled to share the outcomes of this revolutionary program. We’ll dive into the report\, Common Application participants will share their experiences\, and continue the conversation on advancing equity in summer study. This report will be distributed to registrants ahead of the session. \nThis virtual event is free for Equity Arc members\, and $25 for non-members. Learn more about membership
