DESCRIPTION:Presented in Partnership with: \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				National Pathways Festival\nThe National Pathways Festival convenes pre-college Pathways musicians from across the country in Nashville for a multi-day musical experience. Selected through a competitive audition\, fellows will play side-by-side with the Nashville Symphony under the leadership of Giancarlo Guerrero. Fellows will also network with collegiate representatives and peers who come from similar cultural backgrounds. \nEquity Arc Summit\nThe Equity Arc Summit occurs concurrently with the National Pathways Festival. Attendees will engage in strategic conversations on advancing equity collectively at the pre-college and collegiate stages of musical development. \nSummit Highlights Include: \n\nOpportunities to connect with representatives from collegiate and Pathways programs\nKeynote Address from Monica Ellis\, bassoonist of Imani Winds\nStrategic conversations on building representative classes in a post-Affirmative Action environment\nProgress report and continued discussion on the pre-college and collegiate action items identified at the 2023 convening in Cincinnati\nCulminating side-by-side performance of Shostakovich’s 5th Symphony from the National Pathways Festival Orchestra\, followed by a post-concert reception\n\nBe part of the conversation that sparks insights\, ideas\, and initiatives for equity-based programs across the nation. Collegiate non-members may register for the college fair only for $200 or bundle the fair and summit registration for $275.
