In recognition of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Talent Development Program (TDP) 30th Anniversary, Equity Arc and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra co-present a multi-day event dedicated to the past, present, and future of equitable classical music training programs. Join us in Atlanta for the third installment of the Building Bridges Symposium, on November 16-18, 2023.
This symposium includes opportunities to:
- Hear about the impact the Talent Development Program has had on its students, faculty, alumni, and the ASO. Meet the speakers ›
- Learn about the growing National Collective for Musical Pathways and how organizations can support the movement
- Explore the impact of professional fellowship programs and how collaboration can strengthen them
- Follow a TDP alum’s journey to the professional stage
- Discuss program development ideas with peers running pre-college and professional training programs for classical musicians of color
- Strategize with a wide range of stakeholders how the field can improve collaboration, outcomes, and impact in the years to come

Thursday, November 16

- 10-12:30pm: Report Out and Roundtable Discussion to Identify Next Steps
- 12:30pm: Closing Luncheon with Keynote address and Performance by Michelle Cann

Registration is $75 for Equity Arc members and $125 for non-members. Register by November 6, 2023.
Registration includes:
1) Access to all Summit sessions
2) Breakfast and lunch on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18
