Presented in Partnership with:

In recognition of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Talent Development Program (TDP) 30th Anniversary, Equity Arc and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra co-present a multi-day event dedicated to the past, present, and future of equitable classical music training programs. Join us in Atlanta for the third installment of the Building Bridges Symposium, on November 16-18, 2023.

This symposium includes opportunities to:

  • Hear about the impact the Talent Development Program has had on its students, faculty, alumni, and the ASO
  • Learn about the growing National Collective for Musical Pathways and how organizations can support the movement
  • Explore the impact of professional fellowship programs and how collaboration can strengthen them
  • Follow a TDP alum’s journey to the professional stage
  • Discuss program development ideas with peers running pre-college and professional training programs for classical musicians of color
  • Strategize with a wide range of stakeholders how the field can improve collaboration, outcomes, and impact in the years to come

Be part of the conversation that sparks insights, ideas, and initiatives for equity-based programs across the nation. View event details and register below. Registration closes on November 3, 2023.
